π Help π or Deal π
π
“Please, help me”
It is very often that, someone or
the other would approach you for some kind of help.
Do you really help them?
By considering a moderate man who
is having all the basic amenities in his life, generally does his part in
resolving the problems of his known acquaintances, family & friends.
Let us consider an example:
Consider a 40-year-old man, say “X”.
When “X” is at his workplace, if some of his colleagues, say “A”, asks for help,
he does whatever is needed. If “X” is busy, he would at least enquire about the
issue and does his bit in either guiding him or assigning some of his team
member in resolving the issue, because “A” is his close friend at work and “A”
also helps him as and when needed.
Now say “B”, another colleague of “X”,
who is very less interactive with him, when approaches him for help, he
pretends to be busy and says sorry π³ as he couldn’t help him.
Now say “C”, another colleague who
usually never asks help to anyone. But always helps when someone approaches him.
Sometimes, even “X” takes help from this “C”.
From the above example, which is
very much relatable to the people whom we see around, or sometimes it can be
related to us, as we may also behave like “X” in certain situations.
It is evident that everyone
concludes “X” as selfish, but from A’s view, one would say that “X” is a nice
person and he often helps me π. From B’s perspective, one would say that ‘X’ doesn’t
have a helping nature.π Whereas "C" considers helping people despite taking any favors from others.
Conclusion:
If a person assists another person
only by expecting some favor from him in the future or because of the favor
received from him in the past, it cannot be termed as “Help”. It can be termed
as “Deal”. A Deal is nothing but conditional assistance; in our present society, we are witnessing only deals.
One should assist others without expecting anything in return, even our name should not be in propaganda for the bit of assistance we have done to others. “Help” is unconditional assistance, which gives satisfaction to the giver and solace to the receiver. Help would only result in happiness for everyone who is involved and related.
Yes I do agree that a selfless and kind mind is the need of the hour.
ReplyDeleteYes I totally agree...One shouldn't offer any help with publicity in mind!
